To create a geofencing policy, click on “Policy” on the left side menu and then select “Geofencing” from the submenu.

Create Safe Green Zone Geofencing Policy

Click on the “+Create Green Area” button.

Add a new Green Zone by entering an address in the search box. You may name the policy by entering a name in “Tag Name” box. Click on “Save” when you are done.

You can adjust the area of the Green Zone or Red Zone by dragging the handle of the circle on the map.

You may also set a Geofencing policy based on region. Click on “Region” tab. Select the target safe country, state, or city and “Save”.

Once you click on save, another window consequently will appear. Click on “Setup Policy here” to activate and manage the policy setting.

You will get directed to the Manage Policies page. Click on the blue “+New Policy”  to continue setting up the policy.

Add the “Policy Name“ and select the saved “Geo-fences” policy that you just created from the drop-down menu. If needed, assign “IP Addresses“.  Select General Access Policy as the “Policy Level” option to assign the policy to all applications or select an application from the drop-down menu.

You may also add a “Policy Time Range“ to limit access to a specific time range.

The policy can be “Permanent Policy” or “Temporary Policy“. If you choose a Temporary Policy, select a date for the policy.

Once you “Save” the changes, you will be directed to the following window to assign users to the policy. Click on the User or Group tab and assign users to the policy by selecting them and clicking on “Save“.

Create unsafe/Red zones and regions

Click on “Policy” on the left side menu and then select “Geofencing” from the submenu. Click on the “+Create Red Area”.

Add an address in the search box or click on “Region” tab and select a country, state, or city and “Save”. Add a policy name in the “Tag Name” box. Then “save” the changes.

Red zones and regions will automatically apply to all users and applications and block all users’ access from blacklisted locations.

Edit GeoFence Policies

For editing any geofence, select a geofence policy from the list.

Edit the policy or click on the “Delete” button to delete that policy.

You can’t delete an Active policy which has been assigned to users.

A geofence policy is inactive unless assigned to users and applications.Inactive Geofence policy


To activate an inactive Geofencing policy or manage access to a policy, click on the “Access” on the left side menu. Select the policy from the list of policies and customize it by clicking on the setting button. Click here to learn more about assigning and managing access policies.
